CIRCULAR 13/2020 with regards to 2020 Junior Nationals

CIRCULAR 13 /2020.
CORONAVIRUS (COVID – 19),
Pursuant to the public announcement by the President of the Republic of South Africa wherein a ban has been placed on gatherings of more than One Hundred (100) people we regret to advise that the Junior Nationals and the Disability Nationals have been canceled. If possible and it can be accommodated, we may seek to hold these at a later stage in the year.
In reaching this decision we are fully aware that various travel and accommodation arrangements have been made but our first obligation is to comply with the decisions of the highest authority and we apologize for any inconvenience this decision may have caused.
Our overriding concern must be for the health and welfare of our members and their support staff. We will continue to monitor the Government guidelines on this matter and will only make a decision with regard to the National Championship tournament at the end of April. In the event of a cancellation of this event entry fees paid will be refunded.
We appeal to all the Districts and Clubs to adhere to the regulations imposed by the Government and will not accept responsibility should members seek to operate outside of these measures.
